Position: US IT Recruiter, iPlace India Ltd.

iPlace has built a strong reputation in the US market as a high quality offshore recruiting service provider.  Post recession, the demand for iPlace's service has been increasing.  As a result the delivery team in India is expected to grow rapidly in 2011.

 

Position Description:

 

Recruiters identify, qualify, and submit candidates who are precise fits for the job orders sent to iPlace from our US-based clients.  Recruiters are required to work a hard nightshift from 6:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST.

 

Compensation: Best in the Market

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Source candidates using job boards plus a multiplicity of Internet-based sourcing techniques
  • Contact candidates through phone calls and e-mails to determine interest and availability
  • Conduct in-depth phone interviews to qualify candidates, negotiate rates, and schedule interviews
  • Interact with US-based clients to develop recruiting strategies and build long-term relationships
  • Network with and build a pipeline candidates who can be considered for future job orders and can generate referrals
  • Maintain daily and weekly client reports

 

Requirements (experience/skills):

 

  • One year or more international recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting for American clients and knowledge of US contracting methods (W2, 1099, and corp-to-corp)
  • Impeccable spoken communications skills
  • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare concise and mistake-free reports for US business executives
  • Background in IT highly preferred
  • Experience using VMS portals preferred
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, candidate tracking tools, etc.)
