Job Title: Unix Deployment Lead
Work Location: Lincolnshire, IL
Duration: 6+ months
Relevant Experience (Yrs): 5+ in Unix Deployment Activities
Technical/Functional Skills: Unix Scripting, Ant Scripts & Windows Scripting
· J2EE
· DB2 & Oracle
· Windows XP
· Trouble-shooting experience on both Windows as well as Linux Environment
· Good knowledge on virtualization
Roles & Responsibilities: Process environment requirements from development team, clean them up and implement and/or pass on to Infrastructure or Enterprise Architecture teams
· Create images based on supplied component build tags
· Test Lab Deployment & support
· Send and deploy releases to external test environments not owned by the POS test team, such as IC+, Training, etc.
· Work with the Release Manager to define future release contents and issues that might affect production deployments in certain releases
Education: Bachelor of Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
