{Job Junction} QA with ETL/Data migration and/or Data Warehouse testing

Hi All 

Location : Charlotte NC 

Duration : 6+months 

- 7 to 10 years' experience in software QA and/or Development, with experience working on 3 or more projects from requirements inception to product release

- Experience with testing web-based applications developed in J2EE (Java) and/or .NET framework

- 4+ years Proven success in testing large scale, multi-tiered, integrated systems.

- 3+ years' experience constructing/executing SQL queries and Strong understanding of DB2, Oracle, SQL Server databases

- 2+ years' Experience with Data Migration Testing, ETL and/or Data Warehouse testing

- 2+ years' Experience with real-time web services and batch feed testing.

- 3+ years' Experience with UNIX server (Sun Solaris/HP/Linux) and Windows server navigation; Experience running batch commands, scheduled jobs, and reviewing output, logs, etc. on the server.

- 5+ years' Experienced with Mercury Test Management tools (Quality Center, Test Director) and Rational Clear Quest Defect Tracking tool, or similar defect tracking tools.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Resource will have to determine the application landscape; understand existing test bed (if any), understand the new requirements and specifications; determine complete scope, complexity and size of testing effort, possibly assign work out to subordinate testers, develop and execute test cases; ensure compliance with testing best practices and standards; report on QA status to the project team and upper management.
