Position: OBIEE Administrator

location: Bentonville, Arkansas.

Duration: 3 months

 

Skill Details:

·         OBIEE 10g installation/configuration and performance tuning on AIX with websphere

·         Healthcheck – of OBIEE Systems sitting pointing to Terradata & DB2

·         AIX 10.1.3.4.1

·         Capacity Planning – Performance metric monitoring and action plan for OBIEE and BI Server (Actual services themselves)

·         Configuration – OBIEE – Critical to have a review and strategy of config parameters and correctness of them.

·         Warnings in the logs – what is important and what can be ignored

·         Errors in the logs – what is important and what can be ignored

·         Multi-Team ownership –  Unix Ops/BI/Web ops/Etc.

·         This is a comment about the environment and a limitation on how changes can be implemented.

·         4 clusters – with three environments each – Goal would be to document each environment and then document what each parameter does and what the impact would be in changing them

·         Contacts in development – or knowledge to answer the questions that come up.
