DESIGNATION/ TITLE: Lead Game Developer – Smartphone
 REPORTING TO: Tech Lead/Producer  LEAD Game Developer
LOCATION: Mumbai

OBJECTIVE: Responsible for successful completion of the game development projects on Smartphone platforms (iPhone/Android).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
       Lead game projects from development perspective and be responsible
for quality of code and standards
       Taking active participation during brainstorming sessions
       Work within a team of Game Designers & Graphic Artists to ensure
clarity on deliverable defined by the customer and our service
offerings.
       Coordinate with Producer & QA to meet the project needs and
timelines.
       Ensuring the Development and Deployment of the Project.
       Producing quick, efficient, accurate, reliable, and reusable source
code.
       Investigating and sharing new coding techniques.
       Mentoring other juniors in the team and providing training to them
on development techniques
       Providing status reports to the Producer during all phases of the
production cycle.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/AGE At least 5 years of experience as a Game
Developer on multiple projects and 2 years of relevant experience in
Smartphone development. Need to be part of few AAA titles launched on
the App stores.
QUALIFICATION   BE/MCA/B.Sc (Comp. Sc.) or equivalent degree.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE     Technical
•       Programming experience in the gaming industry on 2D or 3D games or
both.
•       Adequate knowledge of C, C++ & Objective C
•       Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Network programming &
Physics Simulation.
•       Knowledge and experience on  engines like UNITY3D, Cocos 2D, Such
Gaming.
•       Excellent object-oriented design and analysis skills.
•       Knowledge of Software Development LifeCycle, design patterns and
coding standards.
•       Solid understanding of performance analysis and software
optimization using tools like profiling, memory leaks etc..
•       Knowledge of Open GL OR Direct X would be ad-on
•       Working experience on XCODE and Frameworks like Core Graphics,
UIKIT, Cocoa
•       Experience of Micro transactions, third-party tools & plug-in like
Open Feint etc. would be advantage.
