JOB DESCRIPTION:
75% - VB.Net in a web environment
- MVC (we have our own custom written implementation of the MVC)
- CSLA.Net (CSLA .NET is a software development framework that helps you build a powerful, maintainable business logic layer for WinRT (Windows 8), WPF, Web, service-oriented, Windows Phone, Silverlight, and workflow applications.)
15% - Oracle PL/SQL
- Working with stored procedures
- The harder SQL work is handled by our DBAs
10% - UI
- Modifying ASP.NET files: ASPX, ASCX.
- XML/XSD
NOTE: We are looking for candidates well experienced in VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL (prefer PL/SQL) since the backend is Oracle. This position requires more ability to problem solve and a willingness to learn and communicate with other developers. A solitary coder is not what we are looking for.
