Role: QlikView Application Support Analyst (more hands on design/development experience the better) Role Description: QlikView Application Support Analyst's primary role is to provide customization, administrative and technical onsite support for in-house developed QlikView applications. Other key roles include maintenance and operation of critical business applications and the ability to analyze, diagnose, find root cause of an issue and solve it or escalate the issue to another team or individual. Additionally, the Application Support Analyst should proactively identify issues before they occur which assists in the overall maintenance of the applications. This role will work directly with all levels of employees including having direct contact with clients.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:
Customization of existing QlikView based products for demo/proof of concept
Provide administrative and technical support for assigned applications
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced application issues from the server perspective, utilizing logs, administration or monitoring tools, server configurations and other techniques
Manage and troubleshoot application integration issues, and data flow
Performance tuning of QlikView applications
Recommend and design system changes or enhancements, giving primary consideration to the feasibility, maintainability, internal customer needs and overall cost/benefit and quality requirements
Meet and exceed established service levels for support
Work closely with IT and Application Development teams for new application installations, releases, and testing

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:
BS degree in computer science, engineering or related fields
Minimum 2 years of experience in designing, developing or supporting QlikView version 10/11 based applications
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint)

 

Preferred Skills:
Database (Oracle is preferred) /data warehouse experience • PL/SQL or T-SQL experience • Healthcare industry experience
