They are looking for Sr. Resources [10+ years of experience] with the following skills:
ASP.NET MVC (4.0 and above)
C# (4.0 and above) [In particular developers with experience in TPL]
Javascript
Entity Framework 5.0 and above
ASP.NET MVC (4.0 and above)
C# (4.0 and above) [In particular developers with experience in TPL]
Javascript
Entity Framework 5.0 and above
Kendo UI; [In specific experience with MVVM pattern on the web. May frameworks implement the pattern, experience with any other web framework that implements this pattern like Knockout js or Angular js is helpful]
Challenges
Not a lot of people have the MVC4 and TPL experiences. Also, when people mention MVVM, it is mostly related to Desktop development [WPF]. HISD is looking for MVVM with web which is not a very common combination.The manager understands there are not many people with the skills he is looking for, however, they have to have someone with the above mentioned experience since whoever they bring in needs to hit the ground running. There is not much of a ramp up time.
