Title: Manufacturing Consultant MS Dynamics AX 2012 R2
Type: Contract C2C
Duration: 6 Months
Base location: El-Segundo – Los Angeles, CA
Travel: 50% (3 months approx.) travel required to Saudi Arabia and UK
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Providing Blueprint support including:
- Assisting with filling any gaps in requirements gathered to date and determining an approach for satisfying the requirements that's in line with NGs approach of using delivered functionality and inherent best practices to the greatest degree possible.
- Providing recommendations for addressing entity/site specific processing requirements.
- Participating in process review sessions to help define processes that best take advantage of delivered system functionality.
- Identifying and defining configuration settings required to setup the new entities.
- Identifying conversion requirements and determining an approach for addressing the requirement.
- Providing Realization support including:
- Implementing defined/approved configuration, customizations, and interfaces.
- Providing tools and procedures for data conversion
- Reviewing, modifying, and implementing user security.
- Reviewing, modifying, and implementing work flow.
- Providing Testing support including:
- Participating in mock conversion testing
- Participating in preliminary system testing.
- Supporting user acceptance testing.
- Providing Training support including:
- Identifying specific requirements for End User training
- Developing End User training
- Delivering End User training
- Supporting go-live and post go-live stabilization
- Mentoring ERP Solutions Group on new config/capabilities to sustain

- Manufacturing Scheduling
- BOMS, Kitting, MRP, and Production Orders
- Mfg Quality
- As-built configuration recording
- Inventory costing and valuation
- Inventory tracking
- Warranty Mgmt
Desired areas of MS Dynamics AX 2012 expertise:
- Project Management and Gen Accounting integration
- Procurement integration
- Procurement Quality integration
- Adeaca Advanced Projects, in particular Subcontractor Management
