Job Description
· Develop, test, maintain and support required applications and technologies.
· Support can include monitoring, root cause analysis and repairs
· Provide technical support to interface applications and data across the Cardinal Health Enterprise.
· Follow approved Cardinal Health software development methodologies.
· Design and Develop, test, maintain and support required applications and technologies Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities
· Must work with other programmers, designers, architects and other IT teams (Change Management, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Networking, Database, Engineering, Service Center, Business Partners, etc.) to ensure delivered software meets requirements, performance goals and is in compliance with software development lifecycle processes and standards.
· Ability to recognize and implement opportunities for improvement within existing processes
· Work with clients to find and resolve production issues, find root cause, and implement solutions based on analysis
· Develop program specifications/detail design documents
· Participate in the application design of systems, including use of analytical techniques
· Assists users in testing, training, and preparation for operations.
· Identify system, data, and process dependencies for upstream and downstream application data flow.
· Provides detail design and solution implementations
· Provide ownership for production issues and lead to resolution Experience
· 4 to 7 years' experience in required technologies and qualifications.
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, etc. or equivalent IT experience.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Understanding of hardware configuration, installation, and maintenance.
· Has worked on multiple platforms and/or with multiple methodologies
· Ability to make sound, timely decisions by considering multiple sources of information and seeking out relevant information that may not be within one's own knowledge base
· Experience in a development or IT production support environment.
· Experience in working with multiple sub-teams across processes and with the business to design, build, test and roll out new processes and technologies
· Experience working in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
· Experience in a development or IT production support environment with strong skills in design and implementation.

| · This candidate will be a part of an application development team comprised of developers (onshore, offshore), tech leads, project management, and business analysis. · Projects are related to supporting small Pharmacy customers with sales, marketing, and reporting solutions - direct customer facing applications. · Projects are conducted in an agile methodology, so experience in Agile is a major plus. Our technologies include web applications (protected), Windows Forms workstation applications, and report solutios and all revolve around a large core dataset. · Experience with Web and SQL will be tested. - Solid understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability - Front-end skills and very knowledgeable of server side/backend code - Solid skills utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Practical exposure and/or experience with: jQuery, AngularJS, AJAX, JSON, - Server side knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, WCF, Web API, IIS - Strong SQL Server skills 2005, 2008, 2012 - Practical knowledge of working with excel API for windows and web applications. – · Experience working with SVN a plus - Experience working with integrations critical(web services, APIs, ETL, FTP, SSIS) |
