Front-End Developer

Culver City, CA

Length: 10 months   

Need Locals, F2F Interview 

 

Skills & Requirements

•    5+ years of experience developing websites and or continuous development contributions to a single platform or website in a full-time role

•    Deep understanding of web standard and best practices

•    Must have strong skills in clean, semantic HTML5 & CSS3 markup.

•    Experience with JavaScript and jQuery

•    Strong skills in Javascript frameworks such as Angular, Backbone, Node

•    Capable of using jQuery and CSS to create rich interactive and animated content

•    Knowledge of responsive design techniques as well as best practices for mobile/touch devices

•    Expert skills in responsive design and frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation

•    Experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS and Sass

•    Detail-oriented coding practices (syntax, naming conventions, comments)

•    Familiarity with a server-side language, such as PHP

•    Experience developing for Wordpress/Drupal or other popular CMS platforms

•    Ability to develop across browsers and platforms

•    Ability to integrate with third party platforms such as Facebook, Gigya, Instagram

•    Experience with SCM such as Git or SVN

•    Strong problem-solving skills and high standards for usability

•    Familiar with Design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator

•    Experience with Agile and ticketing tools such as JIRA

•    Obsessive attention to even the smallest of details

•    Able to effectively communicate with other team members

•    Portfolio of past works showcasing listed job requirements

•    Willingness to learn and grow as an engineer and designer
