Title: Java Lead  Developer

Location: Princeton, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

 

The ideal candidate must have at least 10-12 years of progressively diverse analysis, development, and testing experience using Java and Web technologies.

 

The candidates filling this Lead position will be responsible for working with Development leads and Architect in the high-level systems design/architecture and full-scale implementation of the system.  The candidate will perform in a server-side development role or may also work on client side, and may also be responsible for writing requirements/technical specifications/use cases. The candidate is expected to demonstrate expertise in core Java as well as Spring and Hibernate and web technologies such as and SOAP, XML, CXF and XPATH.  Applicants should have experience using multiple programming/scripting languages, developing automated test cases using the JUNIT Framework, and in cross browser development.  Experience with JSF, Richfaces, AJAX, XHTML, DHTML is a major plus.  The candidate is expected to work creatively and independently to accomplish project goals.

 

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

Experience:

Required experience in:

·         J2EE and Core java, design patterns

·         Hibernate and Spring

·         JUNIT testing

·         XML and Webservices - CXF is a plus

·         Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with technical staff

·         Leading technical teams on complex projects

 

   Desired experience in:

      .        JSF, Rich faces, AJAX, XHTML, DHTML

      .        JBoss

 

The person must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with the responsibilities outlined above.  The candidate must have

significant experience with technologies listed.

 

·         Experience in J2EE and core Java packages

·         Experience in web technologies such as: XHTML, DHTML, CSS,

·         JavaScript, AJAX, and cross-browser development

·         Experience with XML.

·         Experience in developing automated test cases using the JUNIT Framework.

·         Experience in other frameworks such as JSF, Spring, Hibernate, etc.

·         Experience with JBOSS is a plus

·         Good communication skills in order to interact with clients, and other technical staff.

 

Platform Tools:  JBoss, WebStart, JBuilder, Eclipse

 

Languages:   Java, HTML, DHTML, Swing, Applets, JSP, XML, JSF

Operating Systems:  Windows, UNIX/Linux
