We've Urgent requirement with one of our client for ETL Developer Job opening Location Vacaville, CA

 

Position Title: ETL Developer

Location : Vacaville, CA

Duration : 6 months

 

Note: Candidate needs to be available after 2 weeks.

The scope of work for the Integration Transactional Data Hub (ITDH) project is to design, develop and implement a solution which will integrate a number of claims-related systems. 

 

A summary scope of work includes but is not limited to the following:

a. Using IBM DataStage, develop interfaces from source systems: 

a. Electronic Claims File System (Oracle11g Database) and

b. AON's iVOS -  Cloud Based Application via a Unix based file methodology;

b. Develop Erwin data model to integrate source and downstream systems;

c. Develop outbound interfaces to at least five to seven systems (Voice Self Service application, Banking Check and Payment Integration, Two Enterprise Data Mart (COMD, DB2Claims) and the TeamConnect case management application) using flat file and database integration methods;

d. Automate data movements based upon business events (using via DataStage with Unix Flat File and/or Oracle 11g);

e. Develop Java web services, deployed via TIBOC Enterprise Service Bus allowing consumers to query claims data;

f. Other related duties as required.

g. Mentor and train State Fund employees to increase knowledge and skills in specific areas of the Consultant expertise, tasks, duties, and deliverables.

 

Resource Requirements

Supplier shall ensure that all resources assigned to the project have the education, training and experience necessary to render the services in a competent and efficient manner.

 Required Technical Knowledge and Experience The Consultant resource should possess very strong ETL Development knowledge, skills, and experience:

•10+ years experience with data/systems Integration Projects

•Database modeling principles and practices

•Expertise with ETL technologies; experience with Knowledge of IBM Data Stage

•Ability to develop SQL

•Solid written and verbal communications skills

•Problem solving abilities

•Ability to work closely with other team members

•Solid interpersonal skills

•Expertise with large scale data integration projects and Oracle 11g databases

•Expertise in SQL tuning to create efficient ETL processes and reports

Soft Skills:

•Strong written and oral communication skills

•Critical eye for detail

•Positive attitude

•Very well organized

•Able to multitask effectively

•Have excellent time management, task planning and prioritization skills

•Able to adapt quickly to changing client requirements

•Able to work effectively with minimal supervision

•Enjoy working in a self-teaching, learning organization

•Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members

•Experience or knowledge of insurance industries are considered an asset
