Job Title: SAP SD/CRM AFS Business Analyst

Location: Irvine, CA.    

Long term.

Must have SAP SD or CRM and must have AFS

 

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT

This position is responsible for support of SAP Order Management processes with focus on SD and/or CRM modules. Work closely with sales, marketing, customer service, emerging markets and other business users to identify and analyze user requirements, recommend modifications, lead enhancement projects, and provide on-going production support. This role requires order-to-cash business process expertise and understanding of integrated SAP end-to-end processes with concentration in sales, distribution, customer relationship management, retail and ecommerce. Business knowledge of apparel & footwear industry is highly desirable.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement and support SAP Order Management solutions integrated with Retail, POS and e-Commerce solutions.
  • Support integration between SAP ECC and CRM Order Management modules.
  • Analyze customer service, sales, and marketing user needs, determine possible solutions and perform SD and CRM configuration changes to accommodate change requests. Create and maintain SD and CRM configuration documentation.
  • Research, analyze and evaluate present or proposed business procedures to define the best SAP system solutions and map them to SAP functionality.
  • Troubleshoot, identify the source of production problems and own resolution of issues pertaining to SAP SD and CRM modules. Document system problem resolutions for future reference.
  • Prototype activities and prepare functional design specifications for enhancement projects and change requests. Work with developers in completing technical work to meet these specifications.
  • Analyze project proposals to identify potential problem areas and recommend optimum approaches for project path.
  • Offer improvement suggestions for increased efficiency through SAP configuration knowledge.
  • Assist users with updating blueprint and business process procedure documentation as necessary.
  • Provide best practices and experience in how technology can and should be deployed to support major functions within the customer service, marketing, sales and ecommerce business processes.
  • Introduce new SAP Order Management solutions to improve productivity of internal customers.
  • Create and maintain pricing designs in an integrated CRM/ECC environment.
  • Configure order types, copy controls, define incompleteness procedures, and utilize condition and determination techniques.
  • Support master data set ups, testing and interacting with developers and end users.
  • Create and update test cases, conduct unit testing and assist users with testing scenarios.
  • Participate in the development of training materials and assist in conducting training and workshops.
  • Work as a team member with other SAP analysts and consultants in an integrated system environment.
  • Deliver and meet deadlines for the assigned projects and tasks.
  • Follow IT Help Desk process, Change Management Policy and Procedure, and SAP application procedures.

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Service Desk to continuously reduce the number of support issues and improve internal customer satisfaction.
  • Gather detailed requirements from business users for approved projects and enhancements to existing projects.
  • Recommend SAP system options to the business in consideration of existing needs and constraints along with future requirements and goals.
  • Demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations
  • .Adhere to local, state and federal laws.
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to this position/department.
  • Responsibilities may require occasional travel and occasional evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

  • Interact with business users including but not limited to sales, marketing, customer service, distribution, and emerging
  • markets departments.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Must be able to understand and translate business processes into effective SAP SD and CRM software configuration and solutions
  • Integration experience with CRM and ECC in Order to Cash scenario is must
  • SAP SD Integration experience with EDI, Material Management (MM) and Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO)modules
  • Knowledge of CRM security techniques
  • Strong knowledge of techniques to create and maintain SD and CRM pricing configuration
  • Working knowledge of how price condition master data is created, maintained, and replicated between ECC and CRM
  • Hands on configuration knowledge of contracts, standard and consignment orders
  • Knowledge of AFS specific topics like allocation, value added services, seasonality, pre-packs, and process handling on dimension size level
  • Understanding of SAP master data, including customer master, material master, and condition records
  • Broad business knowledge and experience related to order management and logistics desirable
  • Knowledge of apparel and footwear industry preferable
  • Experience in ABAP and working knowledge of CRM Middleware preferable
  • Familiarity with Solution Manager and ASAP methodology
  • Experience with Data Conversion/Migration is a plus
  • Ability to write and maintain system documentation and user instructions
  • Being able to execute assigned tasks with a high degree of independence and self-organization
  • Strong problem solving, cross functional analysis and forward thinking abilities
  • Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks while regularly providing status to management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English and legally authorized for work in the US

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 to 7 years' experience as SAP Sales & Distribution and/or Customer Relationship Management IT Professional with at
  • least 2-3 years full life cycle SD/CRM implementation experience
  • Proven experience on a cross-functional project
  • Experience with implementing and supporting the SAP Order Management module, in both the ECC and CRM versions
  • Experience with SAP ECC 5.0 or 6.0 and SAP CRM 5.0 or 7.0 required
  • Bachelor's Degree (computer science, information systems preferred)
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Vision, PowerPoint, Project), and Lotus Notes skills
