POSITION:  Performance Test Engineer 

LOCATION:  NYC

DURATION:  6+ months

 

Job Description:

 

Candidate with 8-10 years of experience in performance engineering, performance testing and application performance management

• Candidate must have experienced in performance test consultancy, test planning and management, test design, requirement management & analysis, requirement capture, impact analysis
• Experienced in Performance Assessments, performance monitoring
• Prepare and present overall test strategy including performance testing and non functional testing.
• Prepare performance test environment specification to have production representative environment.
• Performance Test result analysis and work with designer to identify tunings.
• Prepared platform baseline capacity and live performance analysis.
• Hands on experience in Capacity planning, Performance Modeling with any tool like Hyperformix capacity manager, Team Quest, OPNET Modeler etc
• Minimum 2-3 years hands of experience in Performance testing with any of tool like HP Load Runner, IBM RTP, JMeter etc
• Hands on experience in Application Performance Management tool like CA Wily Introscope, dynaTrace, HP Diagnostics
• Masters or bachelor degree in Engineering/Computers
• Excellent communications skills and client management
