Job Description:

Client is looking for an individual who can perform as a Lead Java Developer.  This position will require the development of design; debugging code issues, in addition to assisting an off-shore development team with their deliveries.  The position will requires complex product implementations which will require extensive research and analysis.

 

Systems, hardware, software experience:

BEA Weblogic, Java, J2EE, Solaris 10, UNIX, Oracle9.2/11g (query/analytical functions expertise), DB2, MQ, JMX, JAX-RPC, JAX-WS, INDI, SOA Web Services, Scripting (PERL, AWK, Ruby), JSP, Hibernate, Drools

 

Position Requirements:

·        Design, Develop, and maintain several complex product modules/sub-systems

·        Actively lead and participate in product design meetings

·        Perform complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for products

·        Research problems uncovered by QA, or customer support, and develop solutions to correct the problem

·        Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and performance limits

·        Plan and Manage work in order to meet project objectives and time lines

·        Research and understand the requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.

 

Skills required in order of importance:

·        J2EE component beans and applications server management

·        Java object oriented principles

·        Database and ORM Modeling
