Role Summary/Purpose
The Rational Applications Architect demonstrates technical leadership in driving SDLC business goals, programs, and processes through leverage of deep understanding of Rational tool and SDLC subject-matter knowledge. In this role, Rational Architect will utilize experience or expertise to solve process and technical problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
JD:
Technical skills:
§ Java, XML, SQL, Oracle RDBMS and Data modeling
§ At least 4 years Rational experience
§ Strong knowledge of end-to-end SDLC & infrastructure architecture
§ Technical project management over enterprise solutions
§ Knowledge of architecture and design patterns
§ Working knowledge of ERwin, databases, application servers, messaging, Service Oriented Architecture, Oracle, Unix O/S, Linux, Site minder, LDAP, UML, Reverse Proxies, J2EE and physical architectures
§ Established project management abilities
§ Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
§ Strong oral and written communication skills
§ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
