DESCRIPTION:Enterprise Infrastructure Windows engineering position: The Windows engineering position exists within an Infrastructure/Shared Services organization but focuses primarily on the delivery of high-quality infrastructure designs to support complex business applications, databases and middleware components. The Windows engineer will contribute to multiple projects in parallel in an Enterprise as technical leadership or subject matter expert roles. Maturation of enterprise infrastructure and mission critical business processes will be important activities alongside technical Windows systems architecture and project implementation work.
MUST:
Demonstrate professional experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008 Server in an Enterprise, mission critical data center
Demonstrate professional experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008 Server in an Enterprise, mission critical data center
environment, [not lab]
Demonstrate professional experience with virtualized environments (VMware ESX 4 and greater preferred).
Demonstrate professional experience designing, implementing, upgrading, and supporting Windows Sharepoint technologies. (Infrastructure components.)
Demonstrate a technical understanding of enterprise class systems' security requirements
Demonstrate the ability to think beyond tactical/immediate deliverables to assess and mitigate risks and costs
Demonstrate a technical understanding of enterprise class Disaster Recovery implementations
