Location: Lincolnshire IL
JD:
- Relevant Years of experience: 5 - 7 years.
- Understanding IBM DB2 database architecture.
- Install IBM DB2 software
- Create practice and maintain standard installation and set-up procedures for database servers
- Maintain and facilitate standard backup procedures, retention plans, and restore testing
- Perform regular data refreshes and making production data anonymous for use in testing environments
- Maintain standard procedural documentation related to all aspects of operating the database platforms
- Participate in incident resolution as an escalation point for database incidents
- Perform testing and production builds involving data changes and stored procedure building while following established change management procedures
- Assume all DBA duties in testing and development environments, maintaining design, and data consistency throughout
- Understanding Familiar with process oriented tools(like remedy).
