Job Title: Sharepoint Developer
Location:Columbus OH
Duration: 1-2 month

 

Upgrade to Sharepoint 2010, SQL Server 2008 and Windows 2008 Server. Also planning to move to Sharepoint 2013 as well. We are looking for someone to help us evaluate our current Intranet solution and produce a recommended path for the upgrade. This will also include producing an inventory of applications that are currently running on the Intranet and evaluating the current usage of those applications for potential retirement. These applications are non-Sharepoint items written in either ASP.NET or Classic ASP. There will also be opportunities for providing guidance on maximizing the efficiency of our Intranet. This includes sharing thoughts on ways we can improve upon our current applications.

 

The candidate must have the following skills:
3 – 5 years of Sharepoint Development experience
Knowledge of Sharepoint upgrade paths and potential pitfalls in the process
Experience with SQL Server 2003 and SQL Server 2008
Experience with ASP.NET and Classic ASP applications
