OVERVIEW:
Our client has an immediate need for a Java developer who will be part of a team that is responsible for the development of infrastructure related tools and utilities.
Responsibilities:
Product owner of these tools, taking them through the product development lifecycle
Provide support to customers with bug-fixes, enhancements, etc.
Develop and support various tools written in Perl, shell scripting, and Java
Define and develop methodology and utilities for software development efficiencies
Automate or develop new and existing processes to improve customer productivity
Development and integration of a database archiving and distribution tool
Work with teams to build the infrastructure which includes adding features to existing Java tools, perl and tcl tools, building web-sites from scratch, etc.
Requirements/Must Have:
J2EE platform
Socket programming
Experience with MySQL/Derby
Job Title: Sr Java Developer
Location: East Coast, MA
Duration: 6-12 months
Skills Required:
RESTful Web Services Developer
5+ in Java/J2EE development
3+ years RESTFUL web services
Spring, Hibernate
