Job Title: Agile Automated Tester
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ Months
Experience: 5- 8 years
Primary Skills:
· Execute test cases according to the test plan defined for the project functionality
· Participate in task level estimating of work assigned during the project planning stages
· Support production deployments during go live and post release validation testing
· Defect identification and validation of resolution
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent experience
· Current experience with Test Case execution in a Web Environment including white vs. black box test work, system vs. functional and regression
· Experience in all phases of SDLC and Agile
· Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented attitude
· Knowledge of testing tools like Quality Center or Jira
· Document and communicate quality assurance best practices
· Report, track and determine priority of reported bugs
· Participate in task level estimating of work assigned during the project planning stages
· Support production deployments during go live
· Producing and prioritizing bug reports
· Experience with cross-browser testing
· Ability to write and use SQL Server or Oracle queries
· A solid understanding of quality assurance as part of the development process.
· Ability to work in a highly collaborative team consisting of both technical and business members
· Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented attitude
· Ability to work in a highly collaborative team consisting of both technical and business members
· Experience with automation tools QTP, Selenium, and LoadRunner a plus
