Role: Operation System Analyst

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: Contract

 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Troubleshoot and track escalated production issues via internal ticketing system

·         Conduct low-level system/application administration and assist in automating tasks

·         Gather and analyze data regarding system issues and compile post-mortem reports

·         Manage outage bridges and drive systems issues to resolution

·         Work with project management to ensure new and upcoming features incorporate appropriate operational requirements

·         Work with project management/QA team to ensure systemic production issues (bugs) are addressed in a timely fashion

·         Own production operational issues by issuing initial response, data gathering, tracking and resolution where possible, as well as following established escalation protocols

·         Perform other activities and duties as requested, including documentation maintenance

 

Preferred Skills

 

·         3+ years' experience in an IT Operation Center in a large corporate environment.

·         Experience with the Service-Now management suite

·         24x7 on-call support role

·         Experience with a wireless carrier and its IT infrastructure

·         1+ years technical writing experience maintaining or updating system documentation.
