Description:

 Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for creating, designing and developing the process to extract and transform data from OLTP data source and load aggregated data into OLAP environment. The ETL process should utilize the Microsoft stack of BI tools (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), the candidate will be responsible to:

• Design and implement ETL processes for data transactions related to Enterprise Data Warehouse and other data structures to support our Business Intelligence operations.
• Analyze requirements and existing resources to create efficient database and ETL designs to support system to system data integration.
• Work with project and business analyst leads in order to develop and clarify in-depth technical requirements including logical and physical data modeling activities.

 Required Skills :

Technical Skills

• ETL Process and Development
• Slowly Changing Dimensions (SDC) Types 1, 2, and 3.
  SDC Type 1 - Over write data changes
  SDC Type 2 - Add a row for data changes
  SDC Type 3 - Add a column for data changes
• Staging and Aggregating Data Methodologies
• Error and Data anomaly handling

• MDX Queries

• Report and Dashboard creation

• KPIs.

Tool-Set Skills

• SSAS skills

•  SSIS skills
• SSRS skills
• TSQL skills

• SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Jobs, Performance Tuning)

Candidate must be able to communicate clearly with the development team, Project staff, and the user community.

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):

Intimate knowledge of CAPSS and LCMS database design.

Strong Project skills
Self Starter
