Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI:- Telephonic Hire Only Need Only USC or GC Job Duties: This team drives customer adoption of Open Source Technologies and operating systems in various market segments including Mobile, In-Vehicle Infotainment and Data Center. You will work primarily on the Android OS and Virtualization technologies, but potentially also on technologies such as Tizen and Chrome for Core/Atom platforms, as well as open source technologies for Data Center such as Open Stack. The scope of team's activities includes design-win and design-in technical support for our customers and partners, technical collateral, field/customer training and product/customer demos. This is an opportunity to develop and apply technical knowledge along with strong problem solving skills. You will be working with Technical Marketing Engineers to develop demonstrations and collateral to drive the development and delivery of cutting-edge new products and eco system into these growth markets for Intel. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Researching and documenting information for the development of the technical and demo collateral • Running tests to provide key information for design-win and design-in technical support to OEMs and Operating System solution vendors • Executing a demo roadmap for various open source technologies and open source operating systems, primarily Android and associated virtualization technologies • Working with other external and internal teams to procure and plan ingredients for demos • Developing and Integrating Demos • Preparing and troubleshooting Demos for events, conferences possibly with customers/partners Required Skills: • Strong technical background in Android and other Linux based Open Source Operating Systems. Successful candidates should have hands-on experience developing, porting and/or debugging on Android applications and/or platforms. • Strong knowledge of Virtualization technologies, such as QEMU, Virtualbox, KVM, HAXM, Intel VT etc. • Strong knowledge of Android SDK and related components (such as touch, display, wireless, etc.) • Strong knowledge of Android and Linux internals, especially in the area of media framework, networking, USB, video codecs • Proficiency debugging Android apps and Linux applications • Broad software engineering experience. Familiar with Open Source Software version control, configuration management and bug tracking tools would be a benefit Preferred Skills: • Proven communication skills. • Demonstrated technical writing skills and attention to detail. Creating and executing product demonstrations. • Strong problem solving skills and ability to apply critical thinking • Ability to work independently and proactively, multitask effectively and exhibit strong influencing and leadership.
