This is Remote Position
Candidates MUST have strong recent experience with MVC, MVVM and a strong working knowledge of Silverlight
Position Summary - Acts as the subject matter expert for business software developed in-house or purchased.
- Interacts closely with business users to accurately define business rules.
- Independently designs, develops, and maintains business solutions in .net technologies.
Position Responsibilities - Work jointly with other analyst to give guidance on system software and hardware for any enhancements and project initiatives.
- Create system specifications to meet business requirements and participate in the development of a software solution.
- Create and maintain documentation of all business system capabilities and processes.
- Develop enhancement and maintenance solutions for existing .net based applications.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and system software test solutions.
- Work jointly with database analyst to assure data relationships are established according to business rules and policy.
- Works jointly with Systems Engineers to develop hardware and network infrastructure capable of supporting project solutions and considers administrative and support in design
Requirements - 5 years of experience working in analysis, design, and development of software solutions.
- 5 years of experience with .NET web-based solution development.
- Experience with Visual Studio based development of C# and ASP.NET development.
- Must have experience working with Silverlight.
- Must have MVC experience, any experience with MVVM a huge plus.
- Familiarity with software development methodology such as RUP.
- Exhibits strong technical software related problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Specific experience with MS SQL strongly considered and experience with DB2 a plus.
- Demonstrable technical documentation skills to communicate design exercises and decisions.
- SharePoint web part development and administration a plus.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio.
