Job Title:  QA Engineer With Java Exp
Location:  San Ramon, CA
Duration:  6+ months

 

Local candidate only! Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with relevant major.

 

Description
A Software QA Engineer working in a team made up of Software Engineers, User Interaction Design Engineers, Software Architects, and the Product Owner team to deliver high quality software in a fast paced, challenging, and creative environment.

 

In this role you will be:
Responsible for design and execution of functional, system, and module test cases.
Responsible for creation and maintenance of automated testing environment.
Own development responsibility of your tests.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited institute
Minimum 5 years of experience in software QA, preferably in Life Science, Healthcare industries.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Java or C# programming languages
Minimum 3 years of experience with Test Frameworks such as Selenium, SpecFlow, Cucumber, JBehave.
Experience with Jira, ALM, Perforce, VMware, MS SQLServer
Demonstrated ability to write/read Java/C# code

 

Desired Characteristics:
Strong knowledge of OOD, software design patterns and principles
Strong knowledge of test automation and test frameworks
Experience in testing Enterprise Software Products
Knowledge JUnit and Test Driven Development practices
Strong problem solving abilities
Experience working with Agile software development methodologies
Experience working in a validated environment.

 

Non-technical skills:
Able to work under minimal supervision
Encourages input from all members of the team
High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
Able to energize teams through inclusiveness and connection with people
Builds loyalty and commitment
