| MOI:- Telephonic Hire Only Need Only USC, GC notes: Can only do US Citizen or Green Card because of Federal security guidelines at this company; will hire off of phone screen Job Summary: This position designs and develops District and Enterprise-level application software based on long-term IT strategies. Leads the development and implementation of multiple, highly technical and complex Internet/intranet applications utilizing appropriate software engineering processes and multiple Web programming languages. Leads, researches, evaluates, and recommends new technologies and software development prototypes for inclusion in IT strategic plans. Provides technical consultation to automation staff and business areas. Qualifications: - 8 or more years experience with ASP.NET and several years expertise with MVC 4.0 (MVC5 is a huge bonus) - Microsoft SharePoint; SQL 2008 (or later) ; MS TFS and SQL Reporting Services - Visual Studio or related IDE. Professional standard-based web application development using .Net(C#, ASPX), HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript; Practiced with applying security standards and techniques for web applications, familiar with OWASP 8 + years in web/software-related development experience and information architecture Perform object-oriented analysis and design for creating Unified Modeling Language(UML) Mentor analyst and programmers in planning efforts. Consultation and training on system architecture, object-oriented artifacts, frameworks, patterns, software coding, and internet/intranet technologies Subject matter expertise in analyzing, troubleshooting, remediating, and resolving complex issues Develop prototypes and perform architectural evaluations Lead and participate in ongoing process improvement, familiarity with Six Sigma or CMMI. Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and concise information Create well-designed, reusable objects; assist with architecture of logical databases to support application systems Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, building appropriate processes and tools and delivering results Experience with at least 5 or more large scale web site or other technical development projects, from conceptualization and design through development, QA and launch Experience observing and translating user research into business requirements Strong verbal and written communication to include interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with all levels of staff/management; and, demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team Demonstrated organization, prioritization, multi-tasking, problem solving and follow-through skills EDUCATION/TRAINING: * Bachelors or Associate degree in IT discipline. * Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered PREFERRED SKILLS: * 8+ years in software development |
