Job Role: .NET Web Developer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Conceptually designs and implements web and mobile web based software solutions using .Net, CSS, HTML and JavaScript into a large website ecosystem.
· Designs, develops and implements new website functionality and features; assist application development teams when needed on integrating applications into the existing website architecture; support architecture/infrastructure of current web site; support development and maintenance testing of web systems including security.
· Integrate systems working with software API's from multiple vendors.
· Actively seeks out areas to improve the stability, efficiency, responsiveness, quality, and future of the existing website for desktop and mobile experiences. Implementing new technologies and new approaches where appropriate.
· Create documentation for both end user daily usage and technical application maintenance.
· Provide user training as needed for new and/or modified programs.
· Provide support in resolving production site and/or other programming issues.
· Manage small to mid-sized projects, communicating status, allocating work across multiple resources, track task status and on time within budget completion.
· Proactively, positively, and constructively supports the client vision, mission, and quality statements, and the general company direction at all times.
· Acts as a role model in carrying out job duties assigned within this position. This includes ethical management, strong work ethic, solid communications, creative problem solving, and a focus on getting results.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or a related field.
- 3+ years of web development experience in both Frontend and Backend coding. Strong front-end web development experience utilizing HTML5, CSS3, and advanced JavaScript, MV* JavaScript Frameworks, jQuery and experience integrating with restful API's through AJAX.
- Proven knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET web application life-cycle (C#, .NET API's, .NET Web Services, WCF)
- Proven experience using SQL with the ability to write stored procedures, user defined functions & SQL queries.
- Must be extremely detailed oriented, reliable, organized and self-motivated.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong project management skills required.
· Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills required.
