Large Financial Institution needs a highly experienced analytical programmers to work onsite in Denver, CO.

 

This position calls for an analytical programmer that has experience with creating analytical data marts from an existing data warehouse residing in Oracle. There are a number of "cashflow" models and forecasts that have been built based off an older legacy data source which need to be updated to run against the new data mart built against the new data warehouse.

 

Additionally, there needs to be some level of understanding of forecasts and predictive models (i.e. linear and logistic regressions) in as much as knowing what the model inputs and outputs need to be. Knowledge of score code extraction and integration into processes is important.

 

Details:

 Experience with large data sources.

 Experience building analytical data marts for forecasting and predictive models.

 Experience reading through existing code and understanding what it does, how to modify and troubleshoot it.

 Experience with SAS/STAT, SAS/EM, and SAS/ETS from the perspective knowing what the code does and modifying it to change input parameters and outputs.

 Experience with SAS/Access to Oracle writing complex queries both implicitly and explicitly using pass-through techniques.

 Experience with SAS/MACRO

 Experience with both numeric and character functions as pertaining to analytical programming.

 Experience with various methodologies of coding efficiencies.

 Customer is on a GRID environment so some experience/knowledge working within a GRID environment would be beneficial.

 Experience with Enterprise Guide as the primary user interface.
