Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have	·        At least 8 years of industry experience in Information Technology. Must have 2 years of experience in Hadoop ecosystem architecture, preference to Horton works. ·        Deep Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Python, Perl or other scripting languages ·        Hands on experience in Oracle OBIEE ·        Past project engagements with Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW), Analytics, Enterprise Dashboard, Key performance Indicators (KPIs), Master Data Management and  Data governance ·        Must have demonstrable experience of NoSQL: Hadoop/HBase/HDFS, MongoDB, ·        Deep Knowledge of SQL, RDBMS Platforms ·        Strong written and verbal communication skills ·        Should be a self-starter who demonstrates complete ownership over assigned objectives and is able to work independently ·        Highly organized and thorough, with an ability to facilitate communication and scheduling among different levels of staff ·        Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with others in a consistently positive manner, exercising discretion and tact

Responsibilities

As a Technology specialist in Hadoop/Data warehouse, you will be responsible in building and administering the Hadoop ecosystem and overlooking the various data warehouse applications.   ·        Responsibilities include: Provide technology consultations on recommendation of the products/tools ·        Lead Proof of concept developments ·        Identify Big data opportunities to drive revenue growth ·        Assist in defining scope and estimate the effort ·        Implement high quality solutions for identified opportunities. ·        Passion for technology and the desire to learn, embracing and adopting the learned new technology.
