Job Role: C++ Developer with Windows Programming

Location: New York

Contract: 6+ months

 

Job description:

·         C++ Developer will be responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas.

·         May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications.

·         Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.

·         Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.

·         Perform performance tuning to improve performance of the application including familiarity with available tools for such functions. Experience:

·         5 to 10 years.  Skills and Competencies: - Technical skills and expertise to analyze business and system needs solid understanding of systems architecture and design concepts.

·         Knowledge of C/C++, OOP, STL, Multithreading, Sockets, Internals, High Availability, and Shell scripting, all on a Linux platform.

·         Knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, Low-latency, high availability. Strong Analytical thinker, detailed oriented, with good problem solving skills - Organized with good time management skills - Business acumen - Strategic influencing - Can deal with ambiguity and manage change effectively - Comfortable in high pressure, deadline-oriented environment - Ability to adapt quickly; function independently - Creative thinker, breakthrough, innovative, out of the box thinker - Team player, cooperative with good interpersonal skills
