Role : Tableau Consultant (Two positions)
Location : ST Louis, MO
Interview process: Phone / video conferencing
Duration : 6-12 months
At least 2 years of hands-on working experience with Tableau is mandatory .
Minimum number of years of exp : 7 -8 years
Tableau Consultant (Two positions)
- Should have technology architecture consulting or industry experience on:
- Information Management experience (BI/DW, ETL, Big Data, etc.)
- Data analysis experience with BI tools
- Performance tuning of queries and report calculations
· At least 2 years of hands-on working experience with Tableau
· Should be able to design and create visualizations to make data actionable and facilitate decision making for the business teams. Should have a strong understanding of the appropriate chart types to use to highlight patterns in the data
- Understanding of the benefits of data warehousing, data architecture, data quality processes, data warehousing design and implementation, table structure, fact and dimension tables, logical and physical database design, data modeling, reporting process metadata, and ETL processes
- Work experience in optimizing Tableau dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization
- Able to publish dashboards and data sources to Tableau Server as well as managing access, user security, refreshing of Tableau extracts, etc.
- Experience developing dashboard wireframes and design requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations
Data Scientist (One position)
· Expertise in operations research, applied statistics, data mining, machine learning, physics or a related quantitative discipline.
· Demonstrate deep understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine-learning approaches, clustering and classification techniques, and recommendation and optimization algorithms.
· Accomplished in the use of statistical analysis environments such as R or Python.
· Familiarity with NO SQL Databases – Mongo DB for Document-oriented and Cassandra for Wide column stores
· Knowledge of JAVA or Python based Batch loading tools a plus
· Comfortable with relational databases as you are with Hadoop-based framework
