Position: Business Analyst

Location: Baltimore, MD

 

Position Description:-

​The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the customer's system-related business objectives, processes, and requirements and linking them to defined outcomes.

The selected candidate will 

•  Facilitating communication between key stakeholders to ensure concise communication of project requirements to achieve consistent quality deliverables within client expectations. 
  
•  Collaborating with key process owners across the organization to define requirement.
  
•  Write requirements for new software development.
  
•  Designing and developing documentation including procedures, process flow diagrams, work instructions, and protocols for processes. Ensure documentations adhere to MARCS standards.
  
•  Guide and support testing of requirements.
  

Skills Requirements:-

• ​ Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to present business process flows, document decisions, actions, and discussions in meeting minutes.
  
•  Experience working with customers to define/optimize their business processes, breaking them down into requirements, and helping define the implementation through available technologies.  Use of requirements traceability tools, such as HP ALM. Experience working as SE/BA on a Software development program.
  
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to present business process flows, document decisions, actions, and discussions in meeting minutes. Use of requirements traceability tools, such as HP ALM.
  

Desired:-

•  Experience with Agile development and use of product backlog for prioritization and tracking user stories.          

 Education:-

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
