{Job Junction} Urgent Requirement :: UI developer - Seattle, WA

Hi,

 

I am having following requirement with one of our client. Please send me matching profiles along with expected hourly rate and contact information

 

Job Title: UI developer

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Job Description:

(1) Expertise in the domain of Relational Database Schemas Design.

            (a) Design of relational database schemas

            (b) Writing plain JDBC based SQL queries

            (c) Experience with Object-to-relational mapping frameworks required (such as Hibernate (although we are not using Hibernate)),

            Experience with JPA (Java Persistence API) is a big plus as we are using JPA in all our projects

 

(2) Expertise in the domain of "rich" and "interactive" User Interfaces Design and Development using HTML5 technologies,

 

Namely CSS, HTML and JavaScript/Ajax

          

Note: Experience with JSP is not directly relevant nor applicable to our projects (we do not use this technology). JavaScript

Experience limited to data validation in the context of JSP based User Interface design and implementation is not enough.

 

Candidate must be capable of developing interactive web pages using JavaScript.

 

(3) Expertise in the domain of Core Business Logic object-oriented design and development in Java.

(4) Ability to take "vertical" ownership of a project, i.e., being responsible end-to-end for a project.

From requirements collection to data model definition, user interface and business logic design and implementation

(5) Miscellaneous

-          Experience related to RestFul web services is a plus

-          Experience with spring framework (dependency injection) is a plus

-          Good understanding of HTTP concepts a plus

-          Experience with XML processing is a minimal requirement. Experience in XML schemas definition and additional XML technologies like

-          XQuery and XPath is a plus

 

Additional Skills requirements

 

Ability to:

(a) Work with customers to define and document project requirements

(b) Design solution(s) to meet the agreed upon requirements

(c) Manage and support customers

(d) Work with lead engineers on the team to evolve Solis architecture and teams development processes

(e) Provide input for projects plan definition (effort, tasks breakdown, milestones, staged deliverables)

(f) Track and manage external dependencies related to the projects

            - HTML5 technologies (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax)

            - Jquery and FusionCharts JavaScript libraries

 

Server Side

            - Data tier: mySQL database

            - Object to relational mapping: JPA (Java Persistence)

            - Business logic: Java

            - Framework: Spring (dependency injection)

            - Presentation framework: Jpublish

            - Web services: Restful web services

            - Servlet container: Tomcat
