Urgent Req: "Sr SAP Basis Administration" in Tallahassee FL

Duration: Long Term

 

Face 2 Face After Telephonic and Locals are Preferred but not required

 

Job Description:

·         The project requires BASIS support for the CRM, ECC, BW, Portal and Business Objects applications that are used. This includes, but not limited to, performance monitoring and tuning, transport migration, system and client copies, system upgrades and patching, and problem support.

·         The SAP Applications run on top of Oracle 11g databases.

·         The SAP BASIS Administrator is responsible for patching and upgrading as well as monitoring and tuning the database.

·         The project uses Oracle log shipping to a remote site as its Disaster Recovery procedure. The contractor should be familiar with the process and capable of trouble shooting and problems.

·         The backups of the SAP systems are performed by the Shared Resource Center staff but the SAP Administrator is responsible for the backup scripts and configuration on the server.

·         The project may require weekend or after hour support. This requires the SAP Basis Administration team to be available on a rotating basis.

 

Required Experience:

•       At least 8 years of SAP BASIS Administration

•       At least two years of SAP CRM or SAP BW or SAP ECC or SAP Portals experience I

•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•       Experience performance tuning SAP applications

•       Experience as a team lead in an SAP Basis Administration

 

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with the Govt Projects

• Experience with Rev-Trac or Business Objects.
