Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
The DataStage Consultant would need to have at least 5+ years of experience. This Candidate is an ETL Developer with DataStage and UNIX experience; Teradata, DB2, Oracle will consider.
This DataStage Consultant must have data warehousing experience; can do design work where needed; and must be someone with understanding on UNIX.
Experienced in System Analysis, Design and Development in the fields of data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Migration and develop jobs using Ascential DataStage (8.x/7.5x2/7.x)on both parallel and server side.
Oracle, PL/SQL, DB2, IBM SQL procedural language and Shell scripts.
Strong experience with Star and Snowflake schema, Dimensional Data Modeling, Fact and Dimensional tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions (Type1, Type2 and Type3) and CDC (CDC Change Data Capture).
Knowledge/experience in maintaining and loading of large Data Warehouses ,Datamarts using Data Stage.
Expertise in Extraction Transformation and Loading(ETL) processes using Data Stage ETL Tool, Parallel Extender, Metastage7.5, Quality Stage, Profile Stage.
Involved in Performance Fine Tuning of ETL Data Stage jobs and Stored procedures Code.
Worked with Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Table Partitions, Triggers, SQL queries, IBM SQL Procedural Language and loading data into Data Warehouse/Data Marts.
