| MOI:- Telephonic + Face 2 Face • demonstrated ability to create complex web user interfaces for ecommerce applications and social media sites using the following languages and technologies: o j query o xhtml and css o xml and xslt o ajax o javascript o c# / .net o mvc 3 (mvc.net or similar) • knowledge of the user-centered design process, information architecture, and usability principles • strong knowledge of web standards and semantic coding practices • understanding of performance engineering principles • minimum 4 years professional software development experience • page optimization techniques • cross browser/cross platform compatibility • experience with graphics editing software like adobe photoshop
additional preferred experience and skills: • development using agile development methodologies • development for and testing against multiple browser, multiple platform environments • prior experience building web sites in microsoft office sharepoint server (moss) or other enterprise class content management system (cms) • development environments such as microsoft team foundation, visual studio, etc.
the client is seeking a front-end ui software developer to help create the next generation user interface for their website. as part of the website software engineering team, the ui software developer will work in conjunction with application architects, information architects, interaction designers, visual designers, enterprise test teams and technology product managers to implement the front-end code that drives the user experience on the website, one of the world's largest e-commerce websites. it is an extremely dynamic environment where you will have an opportunity to work with some of the most advanced technologies utilized within the web industry. you will be responsible for fulfilling assigned application and project development tasks as well as creating detailed design documentation from business requirements, use cases and high-level analysis documentation. specific responsibilities include: • fulfill assigned application and project development tasks in a timely manner and according to specification • perform problem analysis • estimate development tasks • follow established practices and processes • respond to assigned issues and action items appropriately and in a timely manner • provide timely resolution of qa and uat defects |
