Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI: Phone + Skype Key responsibilities include: HIPAA Health Care 5010 transaction processing including  837, 835, 834, etc A contributor in gathering technical requirements, test planning and test execution EDI Transaction expertise. Resource as technical liaison to client counterparts.   Requirements: BS or BA in Computer Science or related field 5+ years previous experience in programming/software development. An understanding from a production viewpoint of an IBM Mainframe and Local Area Network  environment preferred Technical experience with HIPAA transaction sets and analyzing health data 2+ years experience in the following application development technologies. C#, XML or XSL, Distributed Application Development, Database Programming, IBM Websphere MQ Series, .NET Framework, ADO.NET, EDI Data Translation EDI mapping tool such as Sybase ECmap Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures and design, data management, and data warehousing. Manage simultaneous projects to completion. Excellent communication, time management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required. Technical proficiency in application development including systems design experience, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Comply with software development life cycle methodology and related change control disciplines in completion of assigned tasks. Demonstrate understanding of business processes in core areas of responsibility. Perform development work within the documented framework of the IS architecture and strategic direction. Work well with peers and management from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise. Preferred Experience: Similar experience within a Large Health Plan or Claims Administrator  (TPA) a plus Health Application experience with any of the following areas: Claims Processing, Eligibility Maintenance, Utilization Management, Plan Benefits, Provider and Contract Maintenance
