Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI:- Telephonic + Face 2 Face What projects will they be working on? Variety of things: · New platforms · New product integrations · Upgrades.   Skill Set: · .Net C# · JavaScript · WCF (will develop WCF) · ASP.net · ADO.net (data) · JQuery is helpful  What are the 5 most important skills required for this position from a Software Engineer perspective? 1. Must have Knowledge of design patterns (i.e. MVC is a design pattern, dependency injections, factory patterns.) 2. Experience with Distributed Applications Development 3. MUST HAVE Integrations experience (i.e. What types of Integrations have you built? These should be in .Net. If they don't know what integrations they've built, they are NOT a fit.) 4. C#, .NET, Visual Studio (VS is a tool used for development and debugging.. not likely you could separate from C# at all) 5. JQuery is helpful 6. Database knowledge - RDBMS  What skills/attributes will set apart excellent candidates from others? · Technical Ability, · Good UI skills and backend skills - ASP.net is front end. ADO.net and WCF are backend. · MVC background is a plus · Database development · Good Communication · Healthcare knowledge is a plus · Willing to learn new technologies   Some of the developers would have to know how to write and maintain SQL. It's just part of their foundation. Everyone should have some SQL.
