Job Title	QA Tester
Project Location	San Diego CA
Duration	6 months /Contract

 
Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI:- Telephonic + Face 2 Face Person must have excellent communication skills with 2+ years QA testing experience Project description - Ensuring that software is thoroughly tested and a quality product is provided for release to production environments. - Reviewing and evaluating requirements, specifications, test scripts, and other documents as they relate to the certification process. - Identifying and creating test conditions to support adequate certification testing. - Certifying code changes and enhancements for all development phases of testing. - Validating test results and reporting discrepancies. - Participating in the resolution of defects. - Maintaining integrity of test database. - Executing configuration management tasks for software code control. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred. A minimum of two year's of quality assurance experience with tracking software defects, writing test plans and test scripts is a plus. Strong organizational skills are required. Candidate must be detail oriented, and have the ability to work independently and within deadlines. Knowledge of SQL and Unix applications are required. Experience with automated testing tools such as Mercury Quick Test Pro (QTP) or Winrunner is a plus.
