Position Description:

 

Development includes the re-engineering of the current Web service middle-ware and the transformation and ingestion of binary search data into the targeted open source database (Hadoop/Mongo/Cassandra). selected candidate must be highly experienced in the use and implementation of NoSQL databases as well as open source Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) tools.

 

  Skills Requirements:

 

+ Candidate must be highly experienced in the use and implementation of NoSQL databases , in particular Hadoop and MongoDB.

 

+ Candidate must be highly experienced in open source Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) tools (Falcon, Pig, Oozie, Sqoop).

 

+ Practical experience in Java, JavaScript, Big Data, Data Modeling, Phoenix, HBase, and YARN (MapReduce)

 

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

+ Must be team player and get along well with others

 

+ Detail oriented and committed to consistently completing repetitive production-like tasks on-time and error-free.

 

+ Self-starter, highly motivated individual; team player who can adapt to changes in customer requirements

 

 

 

Desired

 

+ Experience in Cloudera

 

  Education:

 

?Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equilvalent experience with 11 years of professional experience.
