Role : SQL Developer
Location : Oaks PA
Rate: $50/hr on C2C
Duration : Long term
NEED LOCALS ONLY
Look for candidates good in SQL development and scripting languages such as Powershell, Jscript etc along with SSRS/SSIS (mandatory)
SQL DBA experience along with SQL development is good to have
Position Description
Major Accountabilities:
· Day to Day support of development environments
· Upgrade Database Environments as needed
· Run & monitor DB maintenance routines inclusive of server hardening
· Plan and manage backup and recovery procedures
· Controlling access privileges and permissions
· Writing database documentation (standards, procedures, scripts)
· Manage and maintain established DB standards
Knowledge/Experience:
· Successful leadership of projects
· Knowledge of Change Control
· Working knowledge of data processing concepts and financial industry/banking operations practices
preferably OMS systems.
· Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, languages, and environments such as Citrix, SQL
programming, SSRS/SSIS, .Net and Perl.
· Work with development resources and coordinate upgrades in a fast paced environment
· Ability to manage time, projects, and work priorities
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of IT
· Working knowledge of SQL Server and database administration
Skill matrix :
· What is the total number of years of experience in the followings :
o Powershell
o Jscript
o SSRS
o SSIS
· Do you have Knowledge of :
o Change Control ?
o data processing concepts and financial industry/banking operations practices preferably OMS systems.
o Relevant operating systems, languages, and environments such as Citrix, SQL programming, SSRS/SSIS, .Net and Perl.
