Role: QA Analyst

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

Preferred Locals

 

Must Have: Web based/mobile testing, AND web services testing

Job Responsibilities:

• Hands on testing lead that mentor offshore team of testers and ensure project stays on schedule
• Execute test cases and document results
• Participate in design discussions
• Work with systems analysts and development teams throughout the lifecycle to ensure that the end product meets the business needs and expectations
• Negotiate plans, timelines and trade-offs while ensuring end project meets the business expectations
• Set up metrics and reporting structure for project
• Define and Create a Defect Tracking Process / Procedure
• End-to-End testing capabilities for large system

Skills and Experience Required:

Technical Skills:

• 8+ years of experience working as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst
• Experience leading testing activities and coordinate/mentor offshore resources
• Experience developing, measuring and reporting test results and status
• Experience documenting, troubleshooting, and escalation of defect/issues in a timely manner 
• Experience with Rational CLM for test management and defect tracking
• Experience testing Web-based/mobile applications with cross browser, emulator testing (all major browsers, iOS/Android)
• Be able to create test plan and test cases and verify that the software meets the System Requirements 
• SQL/relational database testing experience
• Experience in web services testing (SOA, Oracle Service Bus, XML

Non-Technical Skills:

• Learn and adjust rapidly, embraces change, has an experimental attitude when looking for solutions
• Comfortable working with unfamiliar tasks, quickly grasps systems and processes
• Comfortable working in a fast pace environment

Desired Industry experience:

• Prior PBM experience
• Medicare Part D experience
• CSTE or CSQA certification is desirable

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required
