This Software architect is essential for the successful completion of the development work. The Software Architect should focus on Adobe Flex technology.
· He/she should have the ability to review existing front end architecture, should make improvements as well as provide future enhancements to the UI layer of the application.
· Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Flex technology stack including the ability to code and debug using the Action Script language as well as building new views with MXML.
· The application consists of a Rich UI supported by a SAS based backend.
· The developer will be a part of a development team working on this application and will need to conduct the UI development while working closely with the backend SAS developers.
· The developer should review the existing architecture, provide insight and suggest improvements for scalability, performance and usability.
· Required skills and experience:
· Expertise with use of HTTPService for backend interaction
· Solid experience with the current version of Adobe Flex
