I have an urgent requirement from one of my esteem client, I will appreciate if you can have an eye on the below requirement and send me your consultant updated profile ASAP.
Position: Manual Tester with SQL scripting
Location: Reston VA
Duration: 12 Months
LOCALS ONLY who can ready to attend F2F
Required Experience
· Strong experience in Quality Assurance Life Cycle (QALC) and good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
· Experience in working in Agile software development methodologies.
· Experience with software quality assurance testing on Business Intelligence platform using manual testing.
· Perform analysis of business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity, and testability.
· Must have strong SQL skillset.
· Strong work experience in designing/writing software Test Plans, Test Cases, Test scripts based on Client Requirements / Specifications, System requirement and Functional requirement documents.
· Experience in developing SQL scripts for testing of Cognos reports with varied data per business rules.
· Experience in data setup both in GUI and system backend such are tables/views etc. and reporting to stakeholders.
· Experience in running/scheduling Cognos reports on Cognos Connection.
· Experience in database/backend testing by writing SQL queries, executing stored procedures.
· Experience in analysis and defect tracking QA tools like HP Quality Center, ALM, JIRA is a plus.
· Experience in load, stress and performance testing.
· Strong analytical power to think through business requirement thoroughly from every possible angle and come up with exhaustive test cases.
· Excellent verbal and communication skills are required.
· Client facing experience is a plus.
