Provides architectural guidance on solution design and integration strategies, in the form of standards documentation, examples, training and consultancy. Candidate should have good experience in SOAP UI, Restful, web services APIs, agile and Scrum (must). Experience with Video Delivery / IP Video good to have. Candidate should have extensive  development or testing Experience.  Works with other Solutions Design Team members to encourage a common approach across projects with regard to patterns, principles, practices, processes, and technologies. Identifies opportunities to improve/refine these and harvest artifacts and patterns used on specific projects for general use. Participates in recommendations on platforms, technologies and tools. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a geographically diverse team. Good troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience) is required. Deep understanding of architectural concepts and the fundamentals of good software design Coaches and mentors developers on project team on design/implementation approaches and technique Work with Bid Manager, Solution Integrator & Line Manager to ensure processes are applied. The solution designer is responsible for working with the solution leader and tower leader to develop specific portions of the solution.
