Job Title : Senior Solution Architect
Location : Charlotte, NC
Duration : Long Term
 
Job Description:
  • Create development standards and procedures 
  • Develop programming architectures for code reuse. 
  • Working knowledge of state-of-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs. 
  • Communicate with business owners and IT groups.
  • Work on complex projects/issues that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and Retail business segments. 
  • Integrate existing infrastructure with new applications by selecting the technology that provides the best solution for business needs. 
  • Design applications based on business need and integration. 
  • Publish technical documents and educate the business area about their architecture.
    Apply industry best practices for architecture
  • Participate in cross-functional component architecture teams, and develop future architecture and technology migration plans.
  • Evaluate and select existing and emerging technologies that are the best fit for business and IT strategic needs. 
 
Skill Requirements
  • BachelorĂ¢€™s degree in Computer Systems, CIS, or related field
  • MasterĂ¢€™s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in multiple IT areas
  • 2-3 years of relevant architecture experience
  • Experience in project management execution of multiple enterprise level, mid-sized projects
  • Experience in participating in multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups and demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. 
  • Broad experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems. 
  • Prior specific experience in developing technical architectures. 
  • Broad knowledge of information systems, spanning at least two to four component architectures. 
  • Experienced in translating business strategies, across several business units, into effective solutions. 
  • Good understanding of design patterns and their application at all levels (conceptual, logical and physical). 
  • Expert understanding and skillset in required technologies, software programs, and applications.
