3. Bash and Linux Scripting 

 

Job Description:      

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge working with MySQL database development and tuning for high-performance web applications.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, equivalent experience acceptable.
- Expert knowledge of Structured Query Language with strong relational database background
- Data modeling, schema design and documentation
- Query analysis and optimization
- Database backup and replication
- User privileges and permissions administration
- Experience implementing data security features to protect and secure database systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
- Team player with excellent organizational skills.
- Desire to grow professionally and learn new skills.

Assets:
- Experience working with Linux & bash scripting
- Experience working on data migration & data archiving projects
- Experience branching and merging with version control system; preferably Git
- Experience working with large scale, cloud hosted web applications
- Experience working NoSQL/Document/Graph databases (MongoDB)
- Healthcare industry experience
