Job Description:
• Overall 6-8 Years' experience
• Experience on installing, configuring, testing Hadoop ecosystem components (Hortonworks Data Platform -HDP)
• Hands-On experience on HDP Platform 2.4 is must
• Experience on processing large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data and supporting
• Proven understanding and related experience with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, Hbase and MapReduce
• Knowledge on Talend and SpotFire is PLUS
• Should have Analytic and problem solving skills applied to a Big Data environment
• Sound knowledge of Relational Databases (RDBMS), SQL & No-SQL databases
• Should have experience on the below Hadoop Administration activities
o Hadoop patch update and version upgrade
o Cluster maintenance as well as creation and removal of nodes using tools like Ganglia, Nagios, Cloudera Manager Enterprise, Dell Open Manage and other tools.
o Performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and Hadoop MapReduce routines.
o Screen Hadoop cluster job performances and capacity planning
o Monitor Hadoop cluster connectivity and security
· Manage and review Hadoop log files
